lyrics
we're all prisoners trapped under the sky
locked inside our lives
outside of our minds
far from the truth we hide
set in motion from my birth
discharged from womb to prison
sift through the pain
the nature of the game
still i seek another way
clinging to this false identity
stumbling in the dark
my strength is turned against itself
my mind denies the answer
i've bought into it
find it hard to quit
can i find another way?
clinging to this false identity
stumbling in the dark
hoping that the way things are can be undone
struggling to see the light
we're all prisoners trapped under the sky
locked inside our lives
waiting for something that may not arrive
spinning gears and wasting time
outside of our lives
far from the truth we hide

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
A ferocious display of blackened stoner-doom from Moscow's Moanhand, who offsets moments of bleak ugliness with clean, haunting melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 23, 2021
